Explanation of stereotyping

I think stereotyping is mean, rude and unfair because if a boy likes pink and his friends say you like girl colours, and they say you have to like blue or green, that would put them down.

These are some examples of stereotyping.                                                                                          
All American policemen eat donuts. 
I don't agree because when I went to America I didn't see a policeman in a donut store. Many Americans eat healthy food too.

All Indians work at Dominos. 
I don't agree because I've been to Domino's and I have seen lots of people from different countries that work at dominos.

All Americans eat junk food.
I don't agree because when I went to America I saw lots of Americans in healthy shops but lots of Americans do eat junk food just like people in New Zealand.

Overall I think stereotyping is mean and cruel. It  makes 
people feel bad for who they are and what they choose to do.
